Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to lead the migration from Wherescape to dbt. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems, ensuring data quality and integrity. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing migration of data pipelines from Wherescape to dbt

• Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders

• Providing technical expertise and guidance on data engineering best practices

• Contributing to the design and implementation of data architectures

• Ensuring data quality and integrity

Required technical and professional expertise

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Data Vault 2.0, DBT, Wherescape 3D / RED, Snowflake and Azure Cloud services.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with Azure data engineering services (e.g. Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory)

• Familiarity with PowerBI and data visualization tools

• Experience with data pipeline migration and integration projects

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices

• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
