Amazon Account Manager – Existing Seller Management, Global Selling, JP Seller Services in Tokyo, Japan

Description

The objective of an Existing Seller Management (ESM) representative is to reach out to existing Brand Owners (BOs) from a selected Lead Pool, to support SPs on the process of key Amazon Marketplace Programs (A+ content, brand registry, coupon. SP. Deals) and enhancement on SEO. ESM representatives are evaluated by: (1) the number of engagements within the year (from the selected Lead Pool); (2) the conversion percentage to adopted/re-adopted Amazon Marketplace Programs; and (3) GMS from selected pool. The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, with strong time management and project management skills, technical and analytical. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills as well as team skills. At the core of the position is high attention to detail and delivering high quality results on time.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and help high-potential to adopt programs that will help improve Seller performance in US marketplace.

  • Effectively prioritize and manage a pipeline of merchants to consistently meet/exceed quarterly targets

  • Be a business partner for merchants, providing them with data-driven insights and advice on adopting programs that will help to optimize their success on Amazon.

  • Enable merchants to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems to become self-sufficient in managing their catalog, inventory and performance efficiently to required standards

  • Track business development results, analyze, interpret reports and information for your portfolio

  • Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets in a KPI-driven environment.

  • Drive ad-hoc projects contributing to the department and Team`s success and growth

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to develop and manage relationships, drive results and maximize the business growth opportunity, all in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Tracking and reporting performance using appropriate metrics. Achieve productivity and seller satisfaction target

Basic Qualifications

  • 【基本条件】

  • 教育レベル:大卒以上

  • 職務経験:法人営業、アカウントマネジメント、ビジネスコンサルティング、インサイドセールス、マーケティングなどの実務経験4年以上

  • PCスキル:Microsoft Excel でのデータ集計・分析、Microsoft Word での文書作成 ・英語:定常的に書面(email、レポート)、および口頭(会議、電話、TV会議)でのコミュニケーションを行うことができる

  • 日本語:ネイティブ レベル (English)

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4+ years’ experience in business role requiring to negotiate with the outside. e.g. sales/account management/business consultant

  • Analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel (e.g. vlookup, pivot) and BI tools.

  • Fluent level Japanese, both verbal and written skills

  • Business level English, both verbal and written skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience

  • Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights

  • Experience in writing Query

  • Experience in team management

  • Excel/Doc. writing including QBR/OP1
