At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring DX (Digital Transformation) Advisory consultants to work alongside our customers, understanding customers' business & technical challenges deeply, forming innovative ideas to solve these challenges, and enabling them to be more agile, experimental and customer-centric. You have a keen sense of ownership and entrepreneurship, and, most importantly, you know how to earn trust, think big, and work cross-organizationally to deliver results. You influence others to follow with empathy, data, and customer advocacy.

The right candidate will have experience solving business problems such as cost optimization, sales growth or new business creation in your own or customers' companies through digital technologies and demonstrating leadership by envisioning & engaging variety of people to maximize the scale of business outcomes. Particularly in the area of new business creation, the right candidate is expected to have experiences building innovation programs and running experiments to build customer confidence in doing things in new ways. This includes a proven track record of driving multiple projects to meet customer business objectives, excellent project management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias, a good understanding of cloud solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform using digital/cloud technologies.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build relationships with C-executives or directors of business divisions in customers’ organization

  • Understand customer’s business situations and identify critical challenges to achieve short/long-term business goal.

  • Help customers and challenge ourselves to come up with the best DX solutions that create business values.

  • Represent AWS best-practices around innovation, product management, software engineering, data and analytics, and other platform capabilities, and deliver the best business outcomes through multi-practices collaborations.

  • Facilitate workshops/engagements with product teams, and coach them on customer-centric and experiment-driven product development

  • Guide and implement innovation programs – prioritization, governance, funding, portfolio mix and business fit.

  • Participate in pre-sales customer visits to understand customer requirements

  • Develop, propose, and deliver new DX offerings and engagements

Basic Qualifications

  • Experiences being accountable to or co-owning direct business success metrics such as Sales, Profit, Cost, etc...in your belonging company or customers’ companies and improving those them through digital transformation.

  • Ability to articulate business value of digital transformation in quantitative manner and influence executive levels to make decisions of digital transformation investments (in either your belonging company or customers’ companies)

  • Excellent leadership & collaboration skills : envisioning & engaging both internal and external team members to have common vision & goal, and collaborating with them to deliver the best results.

  • Proven experience taking a product or business from an initial idea to launch

  • Lead customer-facing engagements and various executions teams concurrently

  • Excellent active listening skills that enable you to understand internal and external customer’s goals and challenges

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentations/facilitation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated industry expertise in the areas of lean startup, digital innovation, digital strategy and/or product development

  • Extensive knowledge of product management, product marketing, and/or consulting experience

  • Design Thinking, User Experience, Product Management, Experimentation

  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities

  • Managing executive level relationships with key senior business stakeholders

  • Experience in public cloud computing or with a major enterprise software or infrastructure provider

  • Hands on experience leading large-scale digital or lean transformation projects

  • Good working knowledge of AWS Services – especially higher level services that are the focus of customer innovation (AI/ML, IoT, etc.)

  • Practical experience using the AWS platform for rapid application development and scaling
