Amazon Sr. Marketing Manager, Deal Events, Amazon Fashion Marketplace in Tokyo, Japan

Description

We are seeking a growth minded marketer to own the promotion of Deal Events Marketing for Amazon Fashion Marketplace in Japan. Amazon sales events are one of the unique selling points for our customers; your role will be to own the promotional strategy of Fashion Marketplace events and manage a network of stakeholders to best leverage Amazon-wide events like Prime Day. In this role, you will always be opportunity seeking, experimenting and analyzing new ways raising awareness and customer engagement for Deal Events. A successful candidate will be data-led, fast-paced and capable of building strong relationships amongst their stakeholders as well as their team.

  • Uncover, test, measure and scale growth opportunities for Fashion Marketplace products within Amazon-wide events

  • Increase the awareness, visitation and engagement with Fashion Marketplace specific events, such as Fashion Weekend.

  • Build and effectively communicate insights, strategy and action roadmaps.

  • Manage end-to-end execution of multiple projects and campaigns, tracking and reporting on key milestones

  • Independently develop data-backed business cases for leadership buy-in

  • Earn trust from internal and external partners, balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

  • Work with regional and global teams to share ideas, best practice and results to contribute other market’s growth

Key job responsibilities

• Build mechanisms such as research and feedback forums to uncover growth opportunities

• Uncover, test, measure and scale growth opportunities for Fashion Marketplace products within Amazon-wide events

About the team

The Amazon Marketplace is a critical part of the Amazon consumer business which offers millions of sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon’s reach and expertise. Sellers are our customers and we help them to sell their products to hundreds of millions of customers world-wide. We are looking for a talented marketer to drive our Seller programs.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Tokyo, 13, JPN

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 4+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  • Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation

  • Business level English and Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Knowledge of SQL at the interemdiate level
