What you'll do * Assist with the upgrade of control computers onsite. * Monitor Controls network for McAfee compliance and resolve issues that arise. * Monitors Controls network to ensure timely backups and resolve issues that arise. * Deploy approved Microsoft updates to control assets. * Maintain and update the asset inventory list for control assets. * Update Network and Fiber drawings plant-wide * Assist with installation of new networking and control hardware for infrastructure upgrades. * Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of the Power Monitoring system onsite. Who you are * Available to begin work on January 6, 2025 * Legal authorization to work in the United States * As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required. * Previous experience is considered an asset. * Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education * Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or Information Systems, or a related technology/engineering degree * Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th year. * Currently attending an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term. * Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered. * Strong academic performance * Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester. * Attached copies of transcripts * New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
