They are responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, and integrity of the ServiceNow platform within the enterprise. Rather than just implement the software, we help clients holistically build a ServiceNow practice. As an ITOM Architect, you'd be an instrumental part of this process. How will you make an impact? Lead the implementation of Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, as well as be the primary technical resource for the related requirements of all other processes on the ServiceNow platform. Responsible for the design, development, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM platform Code and develop customized patterns, probes and sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping Deliver technical workshops with clients on ITOM: Event Management, Discovery, CMDB, Orchestration, Service Mapping, and Cloud Management Construct manual business service maps with relationships and dependencies Write Orchestration/Integration Hub workflows Provide mentorship, leadership, and project oversight to the ITOM practice Responsible for internal artifacts and deliverables to ensure they meet solution requirements Work directly with the client’s product owners, scrum masters, and solution architects, which includes presenting the design and development work out to the broader project team. Work closely with the development teams, participate and lead design and architecture reviews Building integrations utilizing infrastructure platform APIs via SOAP and/or REST APIs Sign off on technical specifications and documents, architecture diagrams, system documentation and manuals. Sign off on update sets promotions to production Participate in pre-sales activities related to ITOM practice, including project sizing and scoping What we need to see from you What you offer Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an IT related discipline, OR minimum seven (7) years of equivalent/relevant job experience Lead developer/ technical architect with 5+ years experience both consulting and with ITOM on ServiceNow Experience with net new implementations of Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping Experience with assessments of Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping and can relay best practices to clients Experience with the identification and reconciliation engine Understanding of Discovery scheduling and potential network impacts Experience with Configuration Item blueprint Experience with CMDB Health dashboard configuration, CMDB remediation, including duplicate and stale CI items Understanding of platform security and integration best practices Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping Understands the ServiceNow CMDB class hierarchy, including how it relates to Asset and Configuration Management Experience with JavaScript, Angular, HTML/CSS & Jelly Fundamental knowledge of Common Services Data Model (CSDM) Experience with additional product line(s) on the ServiceNow platform (one or more of ITSM, ITBM, and/or ITAM).
