As the Manager, RESL Products, you will support end-to-end product management and channel strategy across the RESL business.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Support product management across strategy, financial, process, technology, marketing, and customer experience dimensions to support the growth of our business and meet evolving customer needs

  • Support business growth by evolving our product offerings to better meet the needs of customers through process optimization, enhanced features, and marketing strategies

  • Support our channel strategy across all four sales channels – Home Financing Solutions, Scotia Mortgage Authority, Digital (eHOME), and the branch network

  • Measure and track product and channel key performance indicators to underpin product and channel performance and distill key findings into actional business insights

  • Identify and track key industry and competitor trends and provide regular updates to RESL management

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge

  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk

  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field

  • Experience working in the Financial Services industry, with acumen in finance and business strategy

  • Experience in product management and the Real Estate Secured Lending business is an asset

  • An Understanding of Scotiabank’s RESL strategy, key priorities and how they fit within the strategic agenda of the Canadian Banking division

  • Strong ability to work with data and derive actionable insights

  • A proven ability to navigate complex organizations with several stakeholders to achieve results

  • Critical thinking and innovation skills with a track record of driving results
