We are looking for Senior Product Manager, Streaming Platform to join Autodesk's Analytics Data Platform team to make real-time stream processing available to a broad set of users within a self-service platform. Our Stream platform is built to support analytical, operational and event-driven use cases for engineering, machine learning, real-time personalization and more. It is a managed platform which abstracts away complexities such as compute resource management, CI/CD, runtime artefact distribution while prioritizing reliability and scalability. You will define and drive the unified experience for Autodesk's Stream Platform according to our company's goals.

You will report to the Director of Product Management based in the US. The role can remote or hybrid if you are located close to an Autodesk Office.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the unified user experience for Autodesk's Stream Platform in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with a distributed international team as the main interface for collaboration with internal business partners to ensure delivery is aligned with business needs and the product vision.

  • Customer Engagement: Directly engage with platform users and engineering stakeholders to understand their challenges, gather product feedback, and identify new opportunities. Maintain close partnership with the data science, data engineering, and business intelligence teams.

  • Hands-on product leader: Ability to hold technical discussions with platform users and engineering stakeholders, author product requirement documents; collaborate with engineering and lead activities such as quarterly planning, prioritization, etc.

  • Market Analysis: Maintain awareness of the latest trends in big data, AL/ML platforms. Experience in vender assessments.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Internal Advocacy: Act as the internal subject matter expert, providing training and support to other teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-7 years experience in product management, with a focus on building platforms at scale and familiarity with Big Data tech stacks and real-time stream processing use cases.

  • Platform and User Experience: Experience working on data products, data warehouses, and/or other data-centric software solutions a must. Ability to provide technical demos. of work product

  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of streaming technology (Flink/Kafka), schema infrastructure and platform observability/performance/cost

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive results.

  • Customer-centric: Strong customer engagement skills with a knack for understanding and translating customer needs into product requirements.

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and create appropriate strategies. Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly and effectively.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $134,000 and $216,700. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
