Job Description:

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders across the bank and be available to service the deal flow with tight deadlines from global desks in order to be operationally ready

  • Process, manage and maintain client and credit limit data in various systems for new and existing clients

  • Analyze and resolve exceptions from various reconciliation process

  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries, escalating when necessary.

  • Ensure standard operating procedures are updated regularly as needed

  • Provide training to team members on best practices and processes as well as guide junior staff for the completion of business as usual functions

  • Undertake project tasks as required, work with project or strategic resources to provide understanding of team functions and help with business requirements

  • Collaborate with key business and technology partners to ensure a clear end-to-end project understanding and view

  • Validate completeness of operational readiness activities and cutover planning for projects nearing go live and communicating status to Management team.

  • Assist with gathering data for internal auditors and other control areas as required

  • Work with manager to escalate known issues to the appropriate business partner and/technology partner

  • Assist manager to ensure distribution of work and management of team mailbox are efficiently handled and prioritized to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Put forward creative, innovative ideas to streamline processes and simplify the way we operate

  • Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness as well as keeping everyone up-to-date on the status of routine activities

Job Requirements:

  • University or college degree with relevant experience

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of trading businesses and understanding of the operating environment, business processes and procedures, and the transaction lifecycle for Client Data Services as it relates to all businesses supported (e.g., Enterprise Distribution, Fixed Income, Institutional Equities, Corporate Lending, etc.);

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership and time management skills

  • Ability to effectively train

  • Motivated to learn quickly and deliver on business deadlines in a fast paced work environment

  • Self-motivated with the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems effectively

  • A go-getter who can exercise initiative and ability to handle several tasks and changing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Hands on knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook)

  • VBA and technical skills is an asset
