• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3-5 years of experience in Finance

• Detail oriented/Proactive attitude

Job Description

As a financial analyst, you will be tasked with utilizing your superior analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and judgment to provide key business intelligence for various business units. Your role will involve regular monitoring and reporting of financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Job Duties

• Prepare/review budget vs actual comparisons

• Accounting standards background

• Prepare/Review month end close activities

• Analysis of complex financial information

• Create/review journal entries

• Communicate key drivers of financial performance

• Upload budget to SAP (BPC module)

Soft Skills

• Outstanding judgement

• Ability to advise management on future activity and impact on profitability and financial objectives

• Ability to provide forward looking guidance on financial trends

• Oversee activities for multiple areas to ensure consistency

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Torrance, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

This role reports to the Senior FP&A Manager. The candidate has the flexibility to choose a hybrid work schedule with options of 3 or 5 days on-site.
