Obran Cooperative Home Healthcare Administrator in Torrance, California

Physicians Choice Home Health is seeking a Home Healthcare Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our home healthcare services. In this role, you will ensure our services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and with the highest standards of care.

Objectives

  • Oversee the agency's P&L. Implement and manage an effective budgeting and accounting system, and maintain accurate personnel records, administrative records, and organizational policies and procedures.

  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with the Governing Body, staff members, and the community.

  • Guarantee the availability and oversight of the Administrator or Alternate Administrator, as well as a Clinical Manager, during all operating hours.

  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to health and safety, and take prompt action on reports and recommendations from regulatory or inspection agencies.

  • Organize and direct the Agency's ongoing functions to ensure effective and efficient operation.

  • Develop personnel qualifications and policies, ensure the employment of qualified personnel, and provide adequate staff education and evaluations.

  • Oversee the accuracy and reliability of public information materials and activities.

  • Maintain an up-to-date organizational chart and provide ongoing oversight of the quality management system to ensure clear lines of authority and continuous quality improvement.

  • Ensure all agency staff, including contractual providers, are educated on applicable regulations and maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure the timely completion, maintenance, and submission of all required reports to relevant authorities.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed physician or a registered nurse or have experience in health service administration, with at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health or a health-related program

  • Familiarity with Home Healthcare Electronic Medical Records systems, like Kinnser

  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and make decisions on multiple projects simultaneously with little oversight

  • Professional communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information

  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local hiring regulations and policies

  • Passion for the home health care industry and commitment to hiring individuals who will provide exceptional care to our clients

  • Experience managing budgets, including revenue and expense forecasting

  • Ability to monitor and analyze performance and implement corrective actions as needed

Salary

  • The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000, commensurate with experience

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, net disposable income, and performance. The range listed is one component of Obran’s total compensation package for employees/members.
