Specifics:
Pay: Up to $17/HR
Position may require some weekends, holidays, and evenings
The work - How you will contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Driver is responsible for transporting residents as necessary for the activities of the community and resident appointments. Also ensures the maintenance of the van is completed in a timely manner.
About You:?You?have great customer service skills, and are?flexible, compassionate,?and dependable.?Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but?all are encouraged to apply!
You also have:
- You have a High School education desired.
- You have a valid driver's license.
- You have great customer service skills.
- Having previous experience driving seniors is a plus.
- You can communicate with co-workers, residents, family members and business partners. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
- You can make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which typically affect immediate department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspection prior to transporting residents
- Keep residents safe by following all traffic laws.
- Must always keep the vehicle clean.
- Know your destination, the people that are going, and other particulars about the assignment.
- Complete the mileage log.
- Maintain and complete, as necessary, an accident report for the vehicle.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment: Position requires work to be performed within the Assisted Living Community or Memory Care neighborhood. Potential exposure to infectious illnesses.
