Addiction Treatment Services Facilities and Grounds Technician in Traverse City, Michigan
*JOB TITLE: * Facilities & Grounds Tech
EDUCATION: High School diploma

AVAILIBILITY: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, some weekends and overtime required
SUPERVISED BY: Chief Operations Officer
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develops and maintains a monthly schedule of maintenance and repairs for all facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
2. Assist Manager in maintaining documentation for all repairs, bids, contracts and other issues related to building maintenance and safety.
3. Assist in developing maintenance procedures for agency.
4. Monitors building and grounds supply inventory.
5. Responsible for timeliness in addressing repair issues.
6. Inspects buildings and evaluates use of space and facilities.
7. Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
8. Monitors construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established
specifications.
9. Oversees and directs personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities
equipment repair, and preventative maintenance.
10. Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies.
11. Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment
required, and type and number of operation and maintenance personnel needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, walking, hearing, seeing, twisting, turning, and climbing stairs and ladders.
2. Medium lifting (20 to 50 pounds of force) and occasional heavy lifting ( 50 to 100 lbs.)
SKILLS NEEDED/EXPERIENCE:
- Three to five years facility maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of chemicals and chemical safety.
- Basic HVAC knowledge.
- Knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA regulations.
Ability to work with persons who are disabled or disadvantaged.
REQUIREMENTS:
- COVID-19 Vaccine
- CPR/First Aid (will train upon hire)
- Fire Suppression Training
Valid Michigan Driver's License
