The Principal duties of a driver/guard is to operate a company vehicle safely and courteously and to guard and assist the messenger/guard as directed in accordance with company policy and procedures as one learns to perform duties as a messenger. Employees are also responsible for completing daily company related tasks as assigned.Potential starting pay average $42,500.00 annually based on 40+hr work week.Full Company paid health and dental benefits. Company issued uniforms.Full time openings: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.Part- Time openings: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays (24-30hrs avg)Hours of work: 7am with an undefined end time. Typical daily hours worked 9-10hrs (4-5pm) OT paid over 40hrs/week.To qualify for and maintain a position with Eastern Armored Services, Inc. An Individual must meet the following requirements, however not limited to:Applicant must be at least 21 years of age US Citizen Must have a valid drivers license in their state of residency Have a clean driving record No Criminal History Must be able to obtain and maintain during employment, a valid NJ SORA certification (RED CARD) for Armed Officers Be able to pass a Federal, State, and local background check Must possess or willing to obtain a personal firearm that conforms with company requirements Be able to qualify for, apply, and obtain a permit to carry a handgun within the state of New Jersey (Company assisted) Be able to meet various physical demands, and environmental conditions Pass DOT Physical and meet Company Physical ability requirements Good Work and Excellent Attendance History
