Job Description

The Senior Talent Analytics and Reporting Analyst (Payroll & Time) is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful Human Resource (HR) reporting and analytics products and services across the enterprise. This position will play a critical role in advancing Prime’s Talent Analytics & Reporting strategy through ongoing initiatives in support of HR Compliance, Payroll & Timekeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ongoing talent analytics products using an agile approach; expand people data accessibility, leveraging technology to optimize distribution of/access to data (e.g., self-service offerings) allowing end users to explore multi-faceted data, interpreting insights into meaningful, actionable information as appropriate for the consumer of the data

  • Deliver talent analytics & reporting products to end users through the most appropriate technology; educate end users on how to use products, ensuring high utilization of talent analytics & reporting products

  • Lead, design and execute on assigned initiatives to advance Prime’s Talent Analytics & Reporting strategy; foster key partnerships to deliver effective analytic and reporting solutions; increase Prime’s data literacy for talent insights to drive decisions and action; improve data & reporting governance ensuring data is reliable and defined, prioritizing accuracy, privacy and security

  • Maintain, support, and improve the reliability, efficiency, functionality, and utilization of existing talent analytics & reporting products

  • Complete complex ad hoc analyses; provide support to other analysts supporting ad hoc reporting requests

  • Monitor and analyze assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) against benchmarks and/or targets (e.g., turnover); identify insights and articulate the results and implications, and recommend actions within HR; prepare presentations to meet the needs of the audience

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 5 years of work experience supporting Human Resource technology to include HR report writing or HR analytics experience

  • 1 year of Workday Report Writing experience

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to develop effective presentations using data to successfully communicate key messages

  • Strong problem-solving skills to help identify the right questions to ask to solve talent and business issues

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple and shifting priorities

  • Ability to effectively work through ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing Reports and Calculated Fields across a breadth of Workday Business Objects, i.e., HCM, Payroll, Absence, and Time including in depth knowledge of time tracking and absence configuration

  • Completion of HCM Fundamentals, Business Process Fundamentals, and Payroll Fundamentals within Workday

  • Strong understanding of laws, regulations and related compliance context (e.g., payroll laws, tax regulations, and time tracking best practices) to inform related reporting

  • Experience building Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Worklets and Discovery Boards in Workday

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • May report to a Manager or Senior Director in the Human Resources department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $74,500.00 - $111,700.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
