A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry. We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Design Release Engineer I. This job requires technical experiences related to building cutting-edge product and program management experiences. This position requires working with the manufacturing industry as well as high technology-driven products with LG and customers. Design Release Engineer should provide full-time onsite support while focused on managing the release of parts to customer vehicle teams and supporting the integration of these parts from the beginning of development to product launch and quality control. Related technical skills are required to support troubleshooting of integration and system issues. This role requires communicating concerns and driving for closure in order to deliver projects within the time frame while demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills. Responsibilities: Onsite customer support to resolve manufacturing and technical issues including troubleshooting and communicating issues with R&D and OEM Work closely with OEM vehicle teams supporting development activities including module retrofitting, buy-off rides and barrier test Manage OEM customer relationship including product and vehicle teams Write work orders to release parts and document engineering changes for assigned programs Develop and manage vehicle program milestone (if necessary, multiple programs) Support Product and Vehicle Team meetings providing the interface between the both Write and manage calibration files for development and production releases based on vehicle requirements Occasional late/early calls with HQ Other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Travel up to 20% (domestic and international) Preferred: Automotive Engineering experience 1+ Years Engineering experience What is in it for you?
