Job Description

TIG welding of stainless steel exhaust systems ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick. The role supports the automotive (Ford, GM, Toyota) and heavy-duty industries (Caterpillar). Responsibilities include low-production welding of exhaust systems and repair welding from robotic welds that aren't perfect after coming off the machine. This position primarily involves manual welding functions performed independently. When manual welding demand is lower, you will run a robotic weld machine or continuous resistance welders, and you may also be trained to troubleshoot robotic weld machines and train operators.
