Our company is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our financial team in Trumbull, Connecticut, United States. This position focuses on managing and reconciling cash applications, using various software systems and tools in a team-based environment. The successful candidate will need to handle a high volume of cash applications with efficiency and precision. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing high volumes of cash applications accurately and effectively.

• Regular review, application, reconciliation of cash activities.

• Proficient use of accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.

• Work closely with software like Great Plains (GPAC) and other related applications.

• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), perform related billing tasks.

• Continuous monitoring and reconciliation of cash deposits and balances.

• Manage daily cash receipts, carry out cash reconciliations as needed.

• Team up with members from different departments to ensure a seamless financial workflow.

• Leverage advanced Excel capabilities for effective data management and report generation.

• Quickly address and resolve customer credit inquiries and issues.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cash Application Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is required

• Must have knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively

• Proficiency in managing Cash Activities and Cash Applications

• Experience in handling Cash Deposits is necessary

• Must be able to maintain Cash Balance accurately

• Experience in Cash Reconciliations is a must

• Ability to manage Daily Cash Receipts effectively
