Job Summary
This position is for an Analyst, Program Cost Controls, working within the Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization. This role supports the Naval Air Missiles Product Line and will be working very closely with the Business Office and the Program Operations Manager supporting the exciting and challenging AIM-9X program.
As a member of the OSC Finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Operations labor financials. Scope of work includes development of labor forecasts, weekly financial reporting, presentations to leadership and other strategic analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a strong fundamental understanding of the manufacturing environment while also partnering with the larger Finance team to ensure financial metrics are closely monitored and tracked. The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations as well as ensuring program financial commitments are met will be fundamental to success in this role.
What You Will Do:
• Support the creation of labor forecasts on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities for Factories and at the Program / Product Line level.
• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support to OSC leaders, leadership teams, and management using standard company tools and processes.
• Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
• Manage cost accumulation methods for direct labor including discrete charging and allocation pool charging.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.
• Assist in the development and streamlining of OSC labor reports, EAC management and special projects to drive internal efficiencies.
Qualifications You Must Have:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Economics or closely related major.
• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel functionality (pivot tables, lookups, macros, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; self-motivated.
• Proactive; ability to show initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis.
• Strong analysis skills and comfortable working with and analyzing large data sets.
• Good written and verbal skills, including demonstrated ability to present information Finance Manager.
• Comfort taking on dynamic environments and taking on new challenges.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
