Job Summary:

The Production Control Analyst, Materials Planning, ADM, will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of production factories or programs. This individual will support the associated tasks listed below which are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements. This position will also directly support CORE and other continuous improvements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Evaluate and improve process flows regarding age dated material availability, and potential production problems. Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders.

• Controls on-hand material through its life cycle; release purchase requisitions, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, status on incoming and recent material quality reviews.

• Support analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system; material consumption per assembly and tracking material though the assembly process.

• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.

• Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize metrics and system accuracy.

• Leads projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement.

• This position is an onsite role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.

• Experience with SAP System

• Experience with supply chain report analysis and forecasting.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Age Dated / Shelf-life Material

• Experience within Supply Chain Production Control.

• Experience with Government type processes

• Experience with formula applications and creating pivot tables in MS Excel

• Experience reading and evaluating lists of materials required for production work and working with a production planning system

  Additional Information:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
