Performs direct support and general support maintenance and repairs on small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery.
Performs DS/GS maintenance on small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery; provides technical guidance to the soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions of small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery; performs small arms/artillery repairer (MOS 45B) duties, performs fire control repairer (MOS 45G) duties; inspects and troubleshoots fire control system components, towed artillery fire control systems, self-propelled artillery fire control systems, tank fire control systems, towed artillery armament systems, self-propelled artillery armament systems, fighting vehicle armament systems, tank armament systems, small arms weapons; classifies equipment.
