Remote- Must be located within 3 hours from Tulsa, OK

Come join our team as a Business Operations Manager to support our growing portfolio of work with our utility client in Oklahoma. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a holistic strategy to focus on the coordination of analytics, reporting, research, organization, and process efficiency across a large portfolio of commercial energy efficiency programs, leveraging regional staff based on fluctuating workloads, and developing best practices for programmatic functions such as project reviews, performance tracking, client deliverables, and project startup activities. Working closely with our program managers, project coordinators and program engineer, you’ll focus on bringing energy efficiency and bill savings to all customers including under-served communities, providing safer, more energy-efficient businesses, and ensuring grid stability.

What you will be doing

  • Coordination of regular program-level deliverables (weekly reports, forecasting, etc.), working with program managers to add qualitative and quantitative information and portfolio lead for final quality review

  • Supporting internal and external team meetings by prepping and pulling quantitative data, coordinating with program managers and project coordinators on qualitative inputs, coordinating with portfolio lead on agenda, hosting meeting, and documenting action items

  • Initiating program-level incentive invoices, reviewing data points with program managers, and submittal for client approval. Coordination with rebate processing team to ensure all incentives are processed

  • Generating accurate and polished deliverables for all reports and presentations

  • Maintaining and updating shared files, resources and program documents to ensure all program staff has access to latest versions of materials

  • Assembling, proofing, and polishing power point presentations for client meetings

  • Entering data into Excel as part of our invoice process and program forecasting

  • Managing various invoicing processes, performing QA reviews with program managers, and submitting for client approval. Coordination with various teams to ensure all invoices are processed timely and free of omissions and errors

  • Leading communication with IT group, monitoring IT tickets, and recommending improvements based on use of IT tools

  • Monitoring program participant volume and generating scorecards

  • Staying up to date with energy efficiency technologies through avenues that best suit your learning style

  • Learning, maintaining, and updating process workflows and team manuals

  • Coordination with program managers to develop and maintain portfolio-level performance forecasts and trend analysis

  • Tracking of contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and coordinating with portfolio manager on any necessary corrective action plans

  • Coordination with IT team for prioritization of requests and projects

  • Maintaining business workflow documents

  • Determine cause and explain any variances in forecasts

  • Presenting performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders

  • Must be available to travel to the Tulsa, OK office once a quarter

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)

  • 2+ years of experience developing, designing, or administering successful operational processes; or experience managing operations for consulting projects for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and/or regional non-profits or related work experience.

What we would like you to have:

  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool)

  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs

  • Certifications related to operational excellence (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) and/or industry-specific certificates (LEED, BPI, RESNET, etc.)

  • Professional affiliations including, but not limited to: AESP, ACEEE, or AEE

Professional Skills:

  • Demonstrated success operating in complex cross-functional teams to achieve high levels of production, meet tight deadlines, and deliver compliant, quality work products

  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally, with clients and colleagues at all levels.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$48,289.00 - $82,092.00
