Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off)

Job Description:

  • Works directly with Program Management team to ensure key quality deliverables are met.

  • Responsible for the creation, development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and system compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in analysis of reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical systems, field and clinical data.

  • Further investigates the cause for discrepancies and nonconformities to develop disposition and recommend corrective action plans.

  • Active in material review board (MRB) and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.

  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.

  • Conducts program quality cost account management.

  • Serves as a key interface to customers for quality related matters.

  • Works under general supervision while being responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.

  • Providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Quality Control experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Quality Control experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Ability to execute successful continuous improvement projects with a stong team dynamic in a regulated industry.

  • A thorough understanding of RCCA and associated methods and tools

  • One or more certifications in Quality Sciences such as Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, ISO/AS9100, SPC, ASQ certified engineer/manager/auditor, or similar.

  • Blueprint, Technical Order, and Maintenance Manual comprehension and application strongly desired.

  • Strong computer skills
