Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will review request for open market purchases, or for procurement through prescribed federal procurement sources, to determine the nature of the item or services required and sufficiency of information. You will furnish information to MAGTFTC personnel and other customers on procurement policies, procedures relative to item descriptions, sources of supply, evaluation of offers, ect. You will handle all complex administration to include telephone inquiries on verifying price changes and transportation costs, scope of work, design and engineering changes, and follow-up. You will provide customer assistance in a variety of procurement matters to MAGTFTC, MCAGCC personal and other customers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: negotiating and recommending awards, submitting and preparing purchase orders, and experience with monitoring or coordinating purchase card programs. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This announcement uses the OPM Federal Wide direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. Several vacancies may be filled.
