U.S. Marine Corps SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OFFICER in Twentynine Palms, California

Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will formulate plans, implement policies and procedures, and manage: the inventory management; storage management; supply cataloguing; budgeting; funds control; procurement; resale; disposition; and automated data processing. You will manage Government Fuels support for all authorized federal customers. You will operate ground fuels issue points and manage interface with customer's accounting systems. You will prepare and brief command management concerning issues, problems, proposed solutions, and accomplishments. You will provide technical guidance in supply operations, to include requirement determination for units and allies training aboard the Combat Center. You will support maintenance management of military equipment, requisition and issue repair parts. You will supervise 10 civilians ranging in grades GS-06 to GS-10 and WG-05 and WG-06, and 20 contractor personnel. Also supervise up to 17 active-duty miltary members. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing employee workload oversight/management to ensure objectives are met within logistics management operations policies, regulations and procedures; AND evaluating reports, analyzing facts and performing appropriate research in supply systems and preparing detailed responses/recommendations to support the organization and logistics management operations.
