You will work remotely (hybrid) within our Protein EMEA team and report into our Regional Sales Manager located in Livingston Scotland. As our Area Sales Manager your role will be to manage relationships with existing customers whilst creating new leads and bring new customers to JBT, overseeing the end-to-end sales process and driving coordination with all involved partners. The Opportunity ... On any given day you will ... Manage relationships with customers identifying new opportunities Manage your opportunity pipeline geographically ensuring contact and maximising on cross selling opportunities Be engaged and network often to keep customers informed about new product introductions industry trends and best practices from within our market Handover of customers to account managers facilitating any increasing in sales in the future by regular engagement Requirements for the role 3+ years of experience in sales/account planning ensuring strategies for growth and retention for specific customer segments, whilst approaching new customers, creating opportunities/leads showing value, offering the right solutions and converting opportunities into a sale using your negotiation and skills to influence at a senior level Experience with customer demands including cultural awareness when working a sales process in different countries; understand market dynamics and make recommendations Food processing machinery / equipment processing knowledge an advantage Travel & Location We ask that you travel approximately 70% of the time, Uk, Ireland and Sweden being the main destinations Why work at JBT ...
