JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Requirements:
Candidate must follow HIPAA and all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
Candidate must be CPht with previous pharmacy experience.
Candidate must have the ability to compute basic pharmaceutical calculations.
Job responsibilities include: Interpreting prescriptions and accurately inputting necessary information, ensuring proper care and maintenance of robotic dispensing system, accurately retrieving correct medication, accurately counting dosage units and assembling medication for final inspection by pharmacist, responding to patient inquires by reviewing patient files, verifying pertinent information and updating patient records as needed, receiving prescriptions from patients, IVR, and web based prescription refill system,assisting in maintaining adequate inventory of medication and supplies, checking medications for expiration dates and handling according to established practices, processing orders from all campus locations and university departments, processing TP insurance claims, troubleshooting TP insurance rejections, running cash register, assisting at intake window and answering phones as needed.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
