Supply Chain Manager

Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Supply Chain Manager to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

-Manages the Supply Chain team employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.

-Develops and executes project and process plans, develops and implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

-Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

-Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

-Lead complex negotiations, mentor and lead teams through complex negotiations

-Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.

-Manages, develops and motivates employees.

-This position is also responsible for compliance to include small business, conflict minerals and govt flow downs including FAR/DFAR and new policy development to ensure we have a compliant purchasing system for both commercial and government contracts.

Minimum Requirements

-Bachelor's degree

-2 years’ experience in management position

-5 years relevant work experience

-Experience leading complex negotiations

-Must be a US Person

Preferred Requirements

-Supply Chain or project management experience

-Excellent skills in MS, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.

-Material Purchasing and Subcontract experience

-Major Subcontract management experience

-Experience in developing policy and procedures FAR/DFAR compliance experience including TINA compliance

Physical Requirements

-Ability to support up to 25% travel

Salary Range (Annualized USD)

  • Minimum Range: $98,000.00 to $174,000.00

  • Maximum Range: $98,000.00 to $174,000.00
