We are seeking a skilled and experienced hands-on Quality Lead with an experianced background in metal parts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and specifications. salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on metal parts using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM and special gauges to ensure product conformity

• Prepare PPAP packages, maintaining PFMEA and Control plans and updating when needed

• Lead the annual IATF audits conducted by certification boards

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and work instructions

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality

• Perform regular LPA's and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement

• Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify trends

• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations

• Conduct training for production personnel on quality control procedures and techniques

• Perform gage calibration, maintain calibration records and upkeep of Quality lab

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
