Material planning & Scheduling / Inventory reporting / MRP Run

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for MRP Run, Tracking of Material within SAP and flag for shortage, Work on MRP exception and keep Material schedule as per MPS, Closely follow up with materials team for inputs , Align according to MPS , report out shortages. Whenever required connect with vendors to get the part as per Plan.

• Participate in shop floor daily management and ensure timely release of material plan for the production, Monitor Material input with procurement and closely work with warehouse and production for proper issuance in the order , Closure of production order. Work on common consumables and ensure safety stock definition and availability.

• Prepare input / Output model for inventory forecasting and control over inputs to maintain target inventory level, MIS reporting & work closely with Production planner & Buyers. Work to achieve the inventory turn target as per budget. Own the MOS tool and work to sustain KPI.

• Closely work with production and quality for non-conformity and create requisition for NCR and follow up for quick closure to ensure on time rework execution. Monitor the production, use, and disposal of waste materials. Timely share the nonmoving list to Engg and find out the Opportunity to use it in future orders

• Working with engineering for change management and take proactive action for change related procurement. Track the timely release of Engg DRGs against baseline. Also work with sourcing to get the Price as per component lead time, Track the Spares and connect with project management team for timely completion.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

• Should have knowledge for SAP- MM Module
