Aerotek Machine Operator 18-21 HR in Valley View, Ohio

Machine Operator ($18-21 HR; 2nd Shift)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate in a clean room lab environment. This role requires training initially on the first shift, with a transition to the second shift (3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday). The position involves setting up machines, aligning parts, running and inspecting parts repeatedly, loading and unloading machines, following detailed work instructions, and performing detailed documentation. This role is contract-to-hire with a pay range of $18-$21 per hour. The job will include extensive repetition and requires precision.

Hard Skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Computer skills/data entry

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Mathematical skills for conversions

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean room lab, shared with three other employees. The constant temperature is 68 degrees, which may feel cold due to airflow necessary for machine calibration. The workspace is well-lit, enhancing the quality inspection process. Employees can wear sweatshirts and listen to music during work. No steel toe boots are required.
