Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy microservices to support new use cases and features for scalable mobile applications.

  • Implement the components and features necessary, ensuring they align with our overall goals and objectives.

  • Lead project initiatives by setting clear goals and timelines, assuming ownership, and orchestrating collaborative efforts with stakeholders: PMs, designers and client teams, to craft top-tier AI systems that bring delight to end users through seamless delivery.

  • Thrive on addressing complex challenges and adapting to emerging technologies and innovations in AI, making significant contributions to project outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years demonstrated Software Engineering experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with system design and working on large-scale services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms

  • Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.

  • Demonstrated understanding of microservices and system architecture.

  • Experience in building and shipping production-scale services.

  • Technical proficiency in software development and programming languages, particularly in object-oriented languages like C# or Java.

  • Familiarity with agile or iterative Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.

  • Proficient design, development, and testing skills

  • Proficient in cross-team and cross-organizational collaboration.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.
