Actalent Tissue Processing Technician in Vandalia, Ohio

Job Description

As a Tissue Processing Technician, you will be responsible for performing debridement and processing, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products for surgical transplantation. This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and AATB regulations. Key responsibilities include processing and sizing tissue to specifications, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring lab cleanliness, and working closely with Quality and Regulatory staff to uphold manufacturing regulations. You will also be required to accurately complete production documentation and assist with production records.

Must have previous experience handling human specimen.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vandalia, Ohio.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a clean room environment. The role necessitates wearing provided personal protective equipment such as lab coats, safety glasses, hairnets, and medical gloves. Team sizes range from 8-12 individuals per shift. Shifts available are 1st (7a-3:30p), 2nd shift 3p - 11:30p), and 3rd shift (11p-7:30a) Monday through Friday, with the need to be open to OT and working rotating holidays.
