Duties: 1. Scheduling: Assigning trucks and drivers to specific routes and ensuring that all schedules are adhered to. 2. Communication: Acting as a liaison between drivers, customers, and sometimes other departments within a company. 3. Route Planning: Creating optimal routes for deliveries, considering factors like traffic, weather, and road conditions. 4. Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues that arise during transport, such as delays or mechanical problems. 5. Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance. 6. Compliance: Ensuring that all operations adhere to legal and safety regulations.

Experience: 1. Previous Experience: Experience in transportation, logistics, or a similar field is often preferred. Experience as a driver, in customer service, or in a managerial role can be beneficial. 2. Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific industry is a plus.
