What impact you’ll make:

As a member of the Gas Power Global Supply Chain, the Operations Finance GSC COE Leader is the key finance partner for the Gas Power global supply chain across gas, steam, generator, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), repairs value streams and functions. This role is responsible for leading the center of excellence to drive improvements to core supply chain finance processes enabling efficiencies to downstream operating partners.

Job Description:

What you’ll do

• Subject matter expert (SME) in key supply chain and financial processes, including fixed asset, capital spending, indirect costs, inventory, standard costing, project costing, labor utilization & productivity, financial closing & reporting

• Deliver on continuous improvement initiatives to deliver data analytics and reporting integrity.

• Manage, inspire and coach large direct and indirect team fostering career growth in a collaborative team environment to develop strong pipeline of finance talent

• Oversight over managed service provider to ensure delivery of service level agreement (SLA) metrics

• Able to partner with key stakeholders to develop harmonized standard global operating procedures in complex matrixed, operating environment

• Manages global calendar aligned to operating rhythms across GSC Finance teams (annual PIs, fixed asset PIs, standard costing updates, budget, etc)

• Able to effectively communicate current state and future state process & controls, and develop roadmap to align system/process differences across global supply chain to drive harmonized global standard work

• Coordinate with Standard Work COE to deliver high impact financial analytics and controls that drives operational accountability, predictability and transparency

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Extensive, demonstrated domain expertise in supply chain finance

• Leadership experience managing, coaching and influencing direct and indirect team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance / equivalent knowledge or experience

• Knowledge of accounting policies and practices, including US GAAP, standard costing, inventory, and fixed assets

• Prior knowledge of manufacturing system ERPs (i.e. SAP, Oracle, BAAN) and with digital and automation tools such as Tableau, RPA

• Fluent English knowledge is essential

• Location:Veresegyház, Hungary or Budapest, Hungary

• Willingness to travel up to 15%

• Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary

• This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
