Job Summary

The Master Scheduler, belonging to Compression Systems & Services business unit, is responsible to organize, coordinate and supervise activities that enable supply chain and production schedule to meet the customer expectations and is focused on our rotary compressors production line.

This includes material planning, warehouse management and production planning of the assembly rotary line. The position is responsible for developing, implementing material management to serve the line and improve Rotary warehouse process to drive quality and efficiency.

The master scheduler is also responsible for the rotary warehouse operators by leading the team in the daily activities.

Responsabilities

  • Planning the materials in the MRP system to meet the production schedule and the planned units.

  • Plan the sequence of the line production to meet the customer request date.

  • Responsible for the inventory value and lead the annual physical inventory in the Rotary warehouse.

  • Coordinate Rotary warehouse operators’ activities: from the material received at the dock to pick and prepare the material in dedicated trolley before dispatch to the line.

  • Coordinate the 3PL to meet production planning requirements.

  • Think like an owner by implementing actions to improve warehouse efficiency.

  • Participating in compiling and updating departmental metrics in the context of Lean Manufacturing projects and activities.

Skill Required

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably) with at least 1 or 2 years of experience in material planning or related experience in production planning, engineering, or operational department. Otherwise, High school diploma with more than 3 years of similar experience

  • Italian & English language required.

  • Leadership skills in managing people.

  • Extensive PC skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Knowledge of SAP or AS400 system.

  • Excellent communication skills, customer oriented and team player.
