TEKsystems Customer Care Associate in Virginia Beach, Virginia

TEKsystems is currently hiring a Customer Care Associate for a company in Virginia Beach, VA.

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)

Description:

RECEIVE CUSTOMER REQUESTS VIA PHONE & EMAIL

• Manage customer care inbox and intake calls from customer care line

• Create sales opportunities to send to Sales Reps based on customer requests

• Communicate with customers on delivery timelines

• Become familiar with partner vendors to resolve customer issues

ACT AS ORDER RESOLUTION EXPERT

• Research issues and resolution options; determining appropriate resolution; providing information to customers and stakeholders

• Initiate and implement proper corrective action to resolve customer issues

• Understand the legal obligations of contracts or other funding vehicles

• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to meet customer needs

ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT

• Utilize Salesforce CRM to track and manage post-order cases, activities, and customer-requested opportunities

• Maintain detailed communication activity on customer account pages

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, policies, and procedures regarding customer service

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Previous experience in high-volume customer support or service roles required

• Strong telephone skills and experience in customer service principles and practices

• Strong PC skills, knowledge of Windows OS and the internet, ability to type quickly and free of errors

• Experience with Salesforce.com preferred

• Must have a highly developed ability to multi-task. This position is expected to be able to switch gears quickly and be able to operate with multiple interruptions comfortably

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills must be able to talk to new people with ease
