Job Overview: As the IT Due Diligence and Post Close Support Lead, you will lead the IT due diligence teams and post-close support processes for our Private Equity clients and their related portfolio companies. You will work closely with the DTS leadership and cross-service line teams to evaluate the IT infrastructure, systems, and processes of potential acquisition targets of our clients and perform operations diligence, integration or carve-out planning, and post-close integration projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT due diligence teams as they review and assess IT infrastructure, systems, processes, and personnel.

  • Develop comprehensive due diligence reports and presentations for PE client leadership working in conjunction with Deal Advisory and financial diligence project teams.

  • Collaborate with the legal and CB financial diligence workstreams to identify and assess potential IT risks and liabilities.

  • Provide guidance and support to DTS project leads on IT-related matters and backoffice operations during the post-close period.

  • Develop and execute IT integration or carveout plans, including identification of critical success factors, resource allocation, and timelines.

  • Collaborate with the portfolio companies of the PE funds to ensure smooth integration of systems and processes.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the integration team to ensure successful integration and realization of synergies.

  • Assist with the proposal development and scope of work creation and supporting the sales processes at our key accounts and their portfolio companies.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with IT suppliers, ERP software vendors and managed service provides to ensure best practices are implemented in the due diligence and integration processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's management information systems, computer science or business operations.

  • 8+ years of experience in IT due diligence and post-close support for Private Equity funds and their related portfolio companies.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and processes along with knowledge of the enterprise software marketplace and capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Track record of supporting sales and marketing activities with private equity companies and an understanding of the sales process for those accounts.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data privacy is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $91,000 to $256,600. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
