Job Description:
The Senior Accounting Manager will assist in preparing statements adhering to all regulatory and accounting guidelines. This role is crucial in identifying and preventing discrepancies and establishing control systems. Key responsibilities include managing financial closes, handling balance sheet reconciliations, formulating internal controls and policies, preparing compliant financial statements, managing journal entries and accounts reconciliation, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, reviewing accounting information, overseeing financial reporting, working with external auditors, and carrying out additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years GL accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
1+ years accounting leadership experience
Excel proficiency; vlookups, pivot tables, SUMifs
Leadership
Analytical skills

Location:
Virginia Beach, VA (hybrid - work on-site 2-3 days a week in office)
