Teradata APJ Services Sales Operations Manager in Australia

What You'll Do

The role has sales operational responsibility for the APJ Region for developing, deploying, and owning the initiatives described in detailed below. Teradata Services Sales Team is focused on driving overall effectiveness and efficiency in Teradata’s Go-to-market business with field initiatives including the following pertaining to Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Account Deployment - Support Services sales team on strategic planning, sales strategy and special projects. Active participant providing insights and strategic feedback. Translate strategy into special business initiatives, develop operational plans, execute measure and iterate.

  • Sales Process Development & Execution - Create and implement sales operational cadences, including Plan to Make Plan reviews, Orders Forecasts, and funnel reviews. Drive the Rhythm of Business for APJ Services Sales Snr Director and VP of Services. Develop sales templates for QBR’s, Region Leadership team meetings, team calls.

  • Performance Metrics & Measurement - Tracking & Governance and assist with Metric Definition and Deployment.

  • Sales Process Best Practices Execution - Facilitate process adherence with focus on Salesforce updates, promote best practice transfer and define/monitor the distribute of sales outcome measurements.

  • Sales Tools & Technology - Dissemination of sales tools (I.e., account management and CRM tools and services, specifically Salesforce.com). Build dashboards vis Salesforce and BI tools to track, manage and provide insights on KPIs. Integrated online training, mentoring, and onboarding.

  • Sales Support and Deal Support - Coordination of resources to achieve specific sales and deal specific goals and facilitate deal team efficiency and effectiveness.

Who You'll Work With

This position reports into APJ Services Sales Snr Director and is a key strategic partner to the Geographic Services Directors and their respective team.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • It is preferred the candidate has 10+ years’ experience in the high-tech industry with experience in any or all the following disciplines: Sales, Sales Operations/Support, Operational Excellence. The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of “go-to-market” processes, operational cadence, and metrics & the ability to work in a strong sales culture.

  • Experience with and knowledge of data analytics in the cloud is a strong advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field required. MBA desirable but not required.

  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrate self-motivation.

  • Ability to create, deploy and lead sales operational cadence including All-Hands calls, Team meeting collateral, Sales Ops calendar, executive meeting content, etc.

What You'll Bring

You will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in team environment and have strong presentation skills to present to executives with confidence. Ideally, you familiar with account management and CRM tools and services, specifically Salesforce.
