Description

Work closely with Global Brand & Product Director to develop and implement successful global programs on time, while keeping with the brand strategy objectives. Consistently monitor and support the performance of new launches, existing business and provide actionable recommendations to improve the brand’s performance, profitability, competitive position and image. Manage project timelines and deliverables, from concept to final delivery. Develop strong working relationships with global partners, (including regions and affiliates) and internal groups (including GBSC, GSR, Packaging, Digital, Merchandising, Education, Finance, Creative and Global Communications) enabling two-way constructive feedback, smooth workflow and progression of the Brand.

Areas of Responsibilities include:

· Develop product launch concepts and oversee development and execution process to create products and programs with unique and compelling points of difference in line with strategic objectives. This includes developing actionable ideas and product recommendations through internal, comprehensive competitive analysis (including sales data, consumer reviews, claims, etc…) and input/feedback from markets.

· Manage project timelines and deliverables, working with manager and key internal partners to ensure programs adhere to deadlines and costs

· Brief and support the implementation of the 360° campaign activation for the launches under your responsibility and collaborate effectively with the Global Creative Team throughout the crafting of the deliverables.

· Provide affiliates with timely information on all calendarized programs, including managing the creation and issuance of bulletins, turnovers and updates on IMW.

· Prepare forecast and pricing analysis, leveraging internal and competitive benchmarks to develop accurate recommendations.

· Initiate program development by entering programs into the Innovation Portal (including concept, forecast, pricing and cogs, cannibalization etc..).

· Prepare necessary paperwork for projects, including product briefs, creative and copy requests, artwork briefs etc…

· Responsible for all day-to-day project tasks such as budget management, legal approvals, internal support team follow-ups, etc…

· Act as expert and key point person for category performance (shipment, sell-through, cost of goods, sku count, pricing and new product forecasts) as well as competitively with regard to products, marketing focus and relevancy.

· Provide global partners with timely information regarding all programs, including product lineups, positioning, support and pricing strategies. Liaise regularly with regional marketing teams to ensure programs meet market needs. Execute special market requests as needed.

· Assist in preparation of materials/analysis for presentations of marketing plans (ie. Innovation, Brand Strategy, Regional Roundtables etc...)

· Replenishment and organization of department product inventory.

· Lead by example to create an environment that is encouraging, respectful and builds global team cooperation.

Qualifications

· University Degree or equivalent in Marketing or Business preferred. A specialized Master in the Management of luxury and /or Creative industries is a plus.

· 2 to 4 years’ international marketing and product development experience.

· Should demonstrate a passion for the cosmetics business.

· A creative thinker able to foster audacity and turn ideas into concepts.

· Should possess strong oral and written communication; strong analytical & creative skills and excellent computer skills (excel, ppt).

· Must demonstrate ownership of programs, embracing both big picture objectives and follow through with a detail-oriented approach.

· Excellent project management skills – Must be accountable and organized with the ability to handle a multitude of projects in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.

· Must be adaptable, able to develop convictions and an excellent team player.
