Position Summary:

  • Responsible for delivering to Epredia’s Customers high standard of support to achieve excellent level of Customers’ satisfaction.

  • Daily activities include: installations, repairs, preventative maintenance services, qualification services, remote technical support by phone and e-mail.

  • Contributes to the overall service targets with respect to bookings, revenues, service profit and Customer satisfaction while following all internal rules, processes and practices.

Main Activities / Responsibilities

  • Performs all Service Activities in line with internal rules and customer regulations.

  • Assure responsive telephone support and diagnostic as well as on-site Services to exceed the customer’s expectation and making them successful by using Epredia instruments.

  • Actively promote our Support Solutions, and in general being an advocate of Epredia Digital Pathology Solutions.

  • Ensures highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible.

  • Is responsible for managing the company’s assets provided, such as Car Stock/Inventory of Parts, Computer, Telephone, General Tools, Software, Company Car, Manuals etc..

  • Optimize your own work schedule by coordinating with all the necessary partners for service planning/scheduling (Sales, Application Specialist, Dispatching function, Team Leader, others).

  • Is responsible for reporting accurately and in a timely manner, all activities as required (e.g. Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.) .

  • Assures alignment of all activities at the customer site with the rest of Epredia and informs other parties about important information with respect to our customers.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Professional background in Electronics/Engineering or related subjects

  • Minimum 5 years experience servicing analytical equipment or equivalent applications specialist experience.

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to work with optical devices and microscopes (e.g. understand how to clean optics, camera sensors)

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings

  • Familiarity with basic IT procedures, like: Windows, access rights, sharing folders, restore points, networking basics like ping, traceroute, concepts of firewall, router, switch.

  • Ability to do full disk backups and restores, to exchange key components, like HDD-s, video cards, fans.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work across all levels, functions and regions

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities

  • Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills

  • Driving License

  • Willingness to travel 80% of the time mainly within the appointed region (overnight stays may be required) but frequently as well through Europe/European Territory. For training or special calls, international traveling including all EMEA Territory and the US is required.

  • Good English skills, both verbal and written

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Being able to work in hospitals’ labs, being potentially exposed to chemicals, and also human tissues (no direct contact with tissue specimens)

  • Clean Driving License

  • Willingness to travel mainly within the appointed region but frequently as well through UK National Territory. For training or special calls, international traveling including all EMEA Territory and the US is required.

  • Good English skills, both verbal and written
