IHG Reservations Agent in Hungary

Job description

Responsibilities

First impressions count. To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Reservations Agent who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate guests needs to make our guests feel right at home before they arrive.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

· Maintaining accurate and concise records of Reservations

· Assisting with inquiries and bookings in a timely manner

· Liase with key departments to implement operations plans and meet revenue targets in line with department goals

· Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings

· Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone

· Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations

Requirements

· At least 1 year work experience in Reservations

· Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to

· Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories

· Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of basic maths, computer skills and strong communication skills

· Sales focused communication

· Drive for results and excelling organisational skills to manage tight deadlines

· Fluent Hungarian and English language knowledge

Nice-to-have

· Other foreign language skill

· OPERA/Concerto system knowledge
