What you will do

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving major strategic product initiatives that influence the near-term and future delivery of our products and services. This high-visibility role will plan and execute key product themes and cross-theme initiatives that are strategic priorities within Teradata’s Product organization. You will ensure communication and alignment across teams and senior leadership while maintaining a holistic view of product dependencies and cross-functional impacts. Success in this role will mean contributing to the timely and impactful delivery of critical product programs, gaining executive alignment, and supporting efficient cross-functional collaboration.

Who you will work with

On our team, we are dedicated to enabling the Products organization to deliver high-impact initiatives through structured program management and agile methods. As part of the Product Operations team, you will report to the Sr. Director, Product Operations and collaborate with cross-functional leaders across product management, engineering, field enablement, sales, marketing, and other key stakeholders. Our team plays a pivotal role in ensuring product initiatives are delivered with strategic alignment and cross-functional integration.

What makes you a qualified candidate

  • 10+ years of relevant program management experience in product development, with a minimum of 5 years supporting cross-functional, global teams.

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership, including influencing skills in a highly matrixed and geographically distributed organization.

  • Proven track record of successfully navigating and simplifying complex, ambiguous situations.

  • Navigate ambiguity with ease, leading teams through challenges by simplifying complex issues and driving change.

  • Anticipate program or business needs and proactively direct teams.

  • Utilize interpersonal skills and influence to maximize team performance.

  • Demonstrate leadership capability and emotional intelligence to mentor team members effectively and ensure team’s efficiency.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

What you will bring

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, translating strategy into tangible program outcomes.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Aha!, or similar.

  • Project management certification and significant experience in agile work preferred.

  • Skills in cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with senior leadership.

  • A proactive approach, with a knack for identifying opportunities and simplifying processes to drive program efficiencies.

  • Utilize interpersonal skills and influence to maximize team performance.

  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
