Eaton Corporation Customer Quality Engineer in Japan

What you’ll do:

  • Promotes product sales to existing customers and identifies potential new customers. Develops proposals, assesses customer needs in order to recommend appropriate products/services. Provides technical support to clients before/after the sale of the product, troubleshoots technical problems. May provide technical training to customers staff. Recommends product improvements to design staff in response to customer feedback. This person will report to Japan Country Manager.

  • Must have technical knowledge such as the breakers, contactors and inverters

  • Must have the experience for L/M (Low and Middle) Voltage products

  • Must have experience of quality control

  • Visit customer to promote our products with or without sales team

  • Visit the customer’s sites to fix the problems at the field if needs

  • Responsible for technical inquiries and proactively propose solutions

  • Accountable to Key MOEM customers and Distributors by technical matters

  • Training to the customers and internal team for new products and solutions

  • Support for visitors of technical from overseas

  • To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:

a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking

b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS

c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements

d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals

e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS

f. Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Over 5 years experiences with Power Distribution Products

  • Experience Quality Control for Power Distribution Products such as breakers and power supply

  • Project management experience is a plus

  • Good writing and oral English is a plus

  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, and/or top management

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
