Position Overview:

We are looking for a Maintenance Program Engineer to be based in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam or Singapore . This position will be under general direction of the Global Service Center. He or she will provide training workshops to the customer and supports Boeing Products and the Boeing Initiatives & able to facilitate discussions in multiple languages.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support maintenance engineer SMEs and deliver the trainings to customers on maintenance program development and evolution

  • Instructor for workshops provided to our customers (based on expertise, could be Reliability, Maintenance Planning Document, MSG-3 or Production Planning and Control)

  • Support customers via solving or facilitating resolution of operation problem. Evaluating customer’s maintenance and packaging programs and providing consultation.

  • Provide support to customers by resolving or facilitating operational issues, evaluating customer data to improve efficiency or reliability, and supporting Entry into Service on maintenance programs as required.

  • Provide support to Boeing Products; for example Toolbox, Airplane Health Management, Onboard Network System, etc.

  • Support special projects using project management skills in a wide range of subjects. Includes the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders and with internal teams in the United States.

  • Able to hold conversations with Airline management and high level personnel and address questions and concerns in a confident manner

Experience:

  • 8 years Airline Experience (Bachelor degree) or 5 years Airline Experience (Master degree) with a minimum of 3 years in fleet engineering management position

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):

  • Fluent verbal and written English

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree

  • Airline engineering management knowledge in the areas of:

  • MSG Analysis, MRBR procedure and process, aircraft maintenance program and reliability program

  • Schedule maintenance related manuals and documentations

  • Aircraft and propulsion system function and principle

  • local regulatory authority regulations

  • Develop, tailored, deliver and revise the training material with up to date industry information and customers’ needs

  • Present relevant training to customers both in English.

  • Very broad IT skills and engineering knowledge to support Toolbox, OMP and other Boeing software products

  • Problem Solving:Support customer in providing technical advice on a wide range of issues.Major achievements include:- Deliver the maintenance engineering training to customers and local regulatory authority- Provide technical and engineering support- Provide guidance for airline maintenance program, reliability management and Production Planning and Control- Providing on-site support and consultation for customers, and developing tools and procedure to support the process

Relocation:

  • This position offers one-time relocation based on candidate eligibility.
