DowPolyurethanes has an exciting opportunity for aSenior Sales Specialistsupporting the Polyurethanes Systems business! This position can be located inMarietta, GA or virtually within the United States.

About you and this role

The ideal candidate will be energetic, collaborative, growth-focused and demonstrate a high bias for action. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and drive innovation in targeted market segments to generate customer value and an unparalleled CX. You must have the ability to establish trust, credibility and strong relationships with multiple stakeholders at accounts and internally at Dow.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed volume and variable margin targets in alignment with regional marketing strategies.

  • Lead and coordinate customer relationships at multiple levels (Purchasing, Technical, Marketing, C-Suite). Act as "Connector" to cultivate multiple cross- Dow/Customer relationships to grow business and deliver improved CX.

  • Build and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate influential leadership. Build upon customer intimacy and become trusted consultant and advisor for customers. Advocate internally for customer needs.

  • Create and share strategic account plans in CRM with key stakeholders to drive volume and variable margin growth across the business.

  • Facilitate Voice of Customer (VOC) activities at accounts, in conjunction with Marketing and Technical to understand customer and value chain needs in order to identify areas for growth, innovation, and collaboration.

  • Collect and utilize market intelligence and customer feedback to shape sales/marketing plan and provide accurate business forecasts in OMP.

  • Lead/conduct negotiations and implement price changes and contracts.

  • Use CRM, DSR, CMT, OMP, and Smart Pricing at “expert” level. Utilize CRM to document reports of call and document all selling opportunities.

  • Share learning opportunities and Best Practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

  • A valid U.S. driver's license.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Skills

  • Technical degree and or previous polyurethanes experience.

  • Experience in Sales.

  • Skills in (a) negotiation, (b) bias for actions, (c ) persuasive and influence, (e) interpersonal effectiveness, (f) adaptive for change and crisis management.
