About the role

Reporting to Senior Brand Manager, this role plays a pivotal role in conceptualizing, planning and executing exceptional events to strengthen Penfolds ambition to become a global luxury icon.

As a specialist in events production and management, takes ownership of all Penfolds events in the region including consumer, trade, media, corporate & partnerships and is accountable for ensuring seamless actions across multiple departments and stakeholders. This role should come with strong track record of delivering flawless luxury experiences that achieved the set-out objectives, goals and KPIs

EVENTS

  • Work with Senior Brand Manager to build priorities and groundwork for events strategy and success metrics for each campaign

  • With a focus on key markets, curate innovative brand experiences to increase brand awareness and desirability; events as strong recruitment drivers

  • Conduct research with sound knowledge on luxury and competitor’s landscape to create compelling, high quality programs with clearly defined pathways to reach defined KPIs

  • Adapt global toolkits or develop regional versions to amplify key programs and build consistencies across markets

  • Assume full project ownership of events from inception to completion

  • Managing, planning and executing all event operations and logistics not limited to additional staffing, wine orders, brand collaterals, transportation and warehousing

  • Ownership of the full-year events calendar, ensure that it is kept up to date and shared with relevant stakeholders

  • Contribute to content creation and production of materials for events e.g. website, brochures, signages, etc

  • Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies

  • Anticipate and mitigate any potential risks or challenges during the planning and execution stage; and resourceful in finding solutions

AGENCY MANAGEMENT

  • Lead and manage planning and executions with multiple external agencies to ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables and budget

  • Drive efficient and effective work streams to ensure clarity and progress

  • Develop high quality briefs for effective project communication with external agencies and hold agencies accountable for delivering against the targets.

  • Provide clear, consolidated, timely feedback to guide agencies responses

  • Develop framework for agency evaluation from brief to post event

REPORTING & REVIEW

  • Prepare timely and comprehensive event pre, during and post campaign updates, reports and analysis

  • Assist in development and delivery of brand presentations to internal and external stakeholders. This includes annual brand plans or other necessary brand reviews with the global and leadership teams and support in preparation of joint business planning or business updates with key distributors, retail & trade partners.

A&P MANAGEMENT

  • Analyse the effectiveness of campaigns via metrics-led reviews, measure and assess ROI / KPIs, and evaluate learnings to support and guide future implementations

  • Ensure timely submission and compliance with Finance, Legal and Procurement where necessary

  • Responsible for Events A&P planning & forecast (1) ensure A&P planning meets strategic and financial objectives (2) manage spends within budgets and agreed ROI measures (3) accurate forecasting by projects and markets / channels while managing annual, quarterly & monthly forecast deadlines with Finance teams (4) ensure compliance to P2P process with POs raised according to internal policies (PO creation, invoice processing, payment release, reporting etc.)

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree – in business, marketing, hospitality management or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years events management and production experience

  • Demonstrated track record in managing events of different scale that successfully delivered KPIs

  • Understanding and experience in working with latest digital technology and is updated with trends in the events landscape

  • Experience in managing luxury events is an added advantage

  • Resourceful with credible network in the events field

  • Proficient experience in budget control; Previous P&L management

  • Fluency in English is a must
