Brand UI Designer Location: Remote Duration: 11 months with Possible extension Description : Duties: Our client is seeking a UX Designer to join our Web Marketing team. Candidate should have a degree in UX, IA, HCI or other related meaningful major, and you should be passionate about the various aspects of UX and applicable methodologies, have many years of experience in B2B companies and have driven UX strategy for lead generation. Candidate will be highly motivated, reliable, detailed, and driven to produce high quality work. Candidate will get your chance to lead UX strategy across many projects in a groundbreaking company. Your responsibilities will include the following: Lead and manager UX strategy and all UX activities on specific innovational projects which include cross-functional team members Lead design sprints to rapidly affect change and user experience across client.com Develop user flows to help articulate user behavior and system requirements Create wireframes representing information architecture and layout of the page Creatively deliver results to optimize the user experience to gain more leads on the website Collaborate with the Brand and Creative Web team to iterate and develop designs Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, with timeliness as well as demonstrating expertise Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of customer focused processes Build out user scenarios and identify key personas (some persona creation may be applicable) Support end user research including A/B testing, usability testing, user interviews, and metrics analysis to inform designs Incorporate UI practices Lead and support Customer Journey mapping activities including documenting outputs and flows and report out to other teams Work with business teams to capture requirements and understand their needs Report on analytics using various tools Report out on insights and recommendations upon marrying up qualitative and quantitative data Collaborate with marketing department, content producers and management to refine the customer experience Skills: Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or other wireframing tools. Ability to report out quantitative data from tools such as HotJar and ContentSquare. Have an understanding of current web technologies HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript Knowledgeable in the latest web technologies and UX trends Knowledgeable about website optimization, SEO, and lead generation Able to perform Usability Testing Follow and implement User Centered Design methodologies Passionate and positive attitude5+ years work experience, including B2B companies Education: Bachelors or masters degree in HCI or related. Role As a Brand UI Designer youll contribute to the evolution of clients web design program in key areas, including: Enhance primary brand and product touchpoints. Improve customer journeys. Create future-state concepts for client Co-develop system-oriented design solutions, processes and documentation. Support routine activities associated with managing UI for large-scale websites; image production, quality assurance, sharing and collaborating across broader brand team. Leading and contributing to research, competitive surveys. Translating such findings into UI concepts and prototypes. Tasks and responsibilities Develop effective UI designs in support of clients go-to-market initiatives Contribute to design exploration and solutions with understanding of branding requirements and a systems-oriented methodology Participate in team reviews, workshops and sharing sessions Conduct design research, e.g. visual surveys. Mapping, annotating, evaluating user paths/journeys. Sharing results across teams. Field recurring requests for imagery to support updates/additions to key content Support design exploration, specification and documentation to extend our design system Create assets to support testing in usability and live environment Work with analytics, UX and business teams to assess the impact of design and usability changes Skills Working cross-functionally with other departments and peers in the Brand+Creative and Web Marketing organizations. Expert knowledge of UI and interaction design principles, methodologies and web production techniques. Expert knowledge of responsive design and mobile UI. Understanding of key technologies, e.g. HTML5/XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap. Comfortable working in different modes per context/task, from rapid sketch to concept wires to highly polished UI and visual design. Ability to operate independently. Self-starting. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present work and pitch ideas in a group setting Advanced in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator. Familiarity with a large Tech company Suite, Workfront Strong knowledge in any of these areas is a big plus: After Effects or other motion/animation skills and applications Education and experience BA or MA in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Information Design, Digital Media Design, or another Visual Design field. 3+ years of professional experience in web marketing A strong online portfolio showcasing your professional experience originating new concepts and innovative design approaches for the web with positive impacts to marketing efforts and business results. We care a lot about the visual layout of our client's marketing website, so we are looking for someone who has developed a large website within the marketing space. focus on web design system as design system thinking is the big part of that area. Documenting all the solution system (Customer story, product pages) can make standard template for easy duplication of similar pages. Some level of experience in animation, motion , storyboards & storylines. Sourcing images from stock libraries , making diagrams & Informational Graphics If the candidate doesn't have Enterprise experience and has an agency or small business experience, then should have a great portfolio.
