Expedient Business Intelligence Specialist in United States
Expedient is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Information Systems team. This individual will be instrumental in designing and executing Expedient’s BI strategy to address high-impact organizational needs using best-of-breed technologies. This role encompasses all phases of the BI solutions lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, collaboration with the data engineering team, and the deployment and management of reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
Our Information Systems team employs the latest SaaS and cloud-native technologies to deploy and maintain distributed software solutions that enable clients and internal teams to collaborate, sell, deliver, and support Expedient’s cloud services and solutions. These applications encompass CRM, ERP, billing and revenue management, analytics, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, deploy & support reporting and analytics using tools such as Snowflake, Sigma, and Python.
Collaborate directly with stakeholders to design and implement business intelligence dashboards in Sigma.
Enable the organization to effectively scale business intelligence capabilities by architecting and deploying data models for consumption by reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to build and deploy ETL/ELT processes to deliver data from siloed sources into SaaS-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) or on-prem solutions (e.g., MySQL).
Enhance Expedient’s data governance practices.
Essential Qualifications:
Expert-level SQL proficiency combined with strong data modeling skills.
Experience designing and developing BI solutions against cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift.
Perform detailed data analyses across disparate sources and architect moderate-to-complex reporting data structures.
Ability to develop and interpret database procedural code.
Practical experience delivering BI solutions using reporting tools like Sigma, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute and deliver results with limited oversight.
Prior development experience using Python or experience with SaaS-based iPaaS or ETL tools such as Mulesoft, Informatica, Matillion, FiveTran, or Workato are a plus.
A minimum of five years of experience as a BI Analyst or Architect.

Salary for this position is an estimate. Total compensation will be directly related to your own experience and skills. The estimated annual salary range is $75,000 to $110,000.
